Q. God speaks with anger in Psalm 2 - how do we fit this into our picture of what God is like?
A. His anger is against those who conspire to usurp his position, authority, pre-eminence. This is deemed a vain thing (v1) The anger described here is totally justified if and only if God is completely supreme: Therefore any sense of uprising against such a being is laughable (v4) and deserving of swift vengeance
Notes: there are four different voices present 1) Psalmist narrator v1 & 10-12 2) The kings of the Earth v2-3 3)The LORD v4-6 4) The Christ v7-9
